Non Profit Dynamics was founded by Joseph Leonard, a marketing entrepreneur and former investment banking and investor relations professional.

In the early 1990's, Mr. Leonard developed proprietary software for e-marketing to the venture capital and private equity markets. This software formed the basis for VCilitate.com, a web-based service "facilitating" capital formation for lower-middle market companies. During it's run, VCilitate.com raised more than $20 million in equity and debt capital for a diverse mix of client companies.

After divesting VCilitate in 2002, Mr. Leonard adapted his software for the non-profit sector in a new endeavor he named "Non Profit Dynamics". NPD was created to provide web-based marketing tools to smaller faith-based, social service and veteran organizations, allowing them to compete more effectively in the marketplace.

Over the course of the last 20 years, NPD has helped over 100 non-profit organizations advance their mission and expand their reach. In the process, these organizations have raised more than $2.5 million through cash donations, memberships, sponsorships, advertising, ticket sales, and in-kind donations.
